releases; various tracks;
idiosyncrasy tracks; guest
shots.
these are :: idiosyncrasy tracks.
various tracks done under the name of 'idiosyncrasy'.
that's me and squatting george (fka 'g') in case you didn't know.
these are the real roots of my exploits as an mc, we formed the group
many many MANY years ago and have intended to release an idiosyncratic
cd for time. hopefully we'll do it one day because this is the shit i
really find enjoyable. til then, take a trip back with me.. witness the
fitness.
_funk break.2002.
the last idiosyncrasy track to be done before i moved away, it's really
roughly put together but nicely demonstrates what we do. never got around
to recording the chorus together so it's just the verses.
_who the wildest [a-team rmx].2001.
the 'remix' to our popular club hit. same lyrics, different beat. we stole
it from celph titled. sorry.
_who the wildest.2001. [listen
@ soundclick]
our thugged out club smash. tunnel banger and all that. it's a joke, obviously,
and yet it works really well because the verses are still rather nice.
stand-out from george in my opnion.
_idiosyncrasy.2001.
the song that made idiosyncrasy. i couldn't sum up who we are and what
we do better if i sat here typing for a million billion years. classic.
_we be gangstas.2001.
flexing it on the gangsta tip, it's a parody of the shit that pretty much
got us into hip hop.. or at least, it did for me. george had a bit more
taste.
_over there.2001.
a tribute to our home town, plymouth, done in true mix-tape styley over
the pharoahe monch 'right here' beat. genius.
_riiiight!!.2000.
simply another foray into the randomness we seemed to be putting out at
the time. one of my favourite idiosyncrasy tracks still, depsite its age.
it began the more 'fun' approach we adopted.
_random ish.2000.
while we still finding our feet, this track emerged as one of the best
early examples of our skills. it's dated a bit now and is more of a 'battle'
track than what we normally did but still. nice.
_sexual murder.1998.
the original. pretty much the reason i'm doing this now. humble beginnings
and all that.
a wonderfully woven story of love, hate and a cliff. gangsta.
