has it really been that long? feck. sorry.
been upset lately. about two weeks ago i had some major computer problems and have lost all of my shit. songs, lyrics, beats, site designs, album covers, photos, blah blah blah.. not quite as devastating to hip hop as the wu-mansion flood but still, i'm gutted. two years work just fucking gone. that'll learn me to not keep lyrics on paper.. and not save things on cd..
pants.
so yeah. no new music for a while then. although, in one sense, it's a good thing. suppose i can start 'fresh' on all future music.
i'll just keep telling myself that.

so christmas has been and gone for another year. hope it was a good one for you and yours. couple of quid poorer, couple of cd's/dvd's/clothes richer; you know the dilly.

_december.06 - happy birthday to me
two years since 'random e.p. jobby', i'm finally ready to release my new cd. 'random nobody'. it's been a long haul and the last few months especially have been ridiculous in terms of shit going on which has caused me to delay and delay with getting this cd out. but it's done now. go and buy it.

the tracklisting has changed a couple times, i've dropped a few songs and shifted the order about a bit for flow purposes so ignore what i've said before and take this as the final version.

just a quick update on the progress of me next cd for anyone that's interested.. i've still not finished recording it all but it's all there waiting, ready to go. even the cover art is pretty much complete, tho' it needs a wee bit of touching up before it's fully ready for viewing so hold that thought.

the cd's called 'random nobody' and i'm gonna put on 8 (or maybe 9) brand stonking new tracks, and probably one or two from 'random e.p. jobby' seeing as this new cd was supposed to be the follow up 'full' version of the e.p. it's looking good on paper if i do say so myself.. just need to get a new microphone because waiting to record it all properly is killing me.

still, i have managed to get a rough version of one of the tracks done, which is available to download thus: 'nothing right' [mp3, 4mb]. bear in mind it's the rough version but let me know what you reckon.. (bob@english-bob.co.uk) to be honest, it's not too indicative of the rest of the album but blah, it's a taster. enjoy.

so yeah, just felt the need for a small update to say that the next cd is coming along nicely in theory. lots of tracks written and waiting and a few others shaping up rather spiffingly. going all out on this one. well, almost. just gotta wait til i can afford a new mic. if it weren't for fucking council tax, i'd be sorted but as it is - many other things have to take priority over acquiring anything with 'shure' on it. ah well.
not much else to say so i'll vacate the place..
keep popping back tho'.. big tings a gwan and all that..
